Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Briefly describe the complex learning system of the 21st century based on the contributions of Dr. Morin and Tarride based on the topic of complexity and complex systems. METHOD: The study presents themes and approaches of complexity and relates them to the educational condition of the 21st century. review and deductive analysis of literature of complexity documents and complex systems as well as the seven-knowledge necessary for the education of the future and the eighth knowledge. RESULTS: The approach to the works consulted intuits that knowledge is essential for the full development of the individual and the society to which he belongs. As science advances, it is important not to forget the essentials of life, ethics, since it is always You will acquire knowledge on various topics, likewise the individual is challenged in his intellect to seek new, more complex horizons and their respective systems. UNFINISHED REFLECTION: By referring to Morin as a champion of the new educational current, the complex learning system and all the variants that have derived from it, it is advisable to rethink and reengineer the current educational system since science advances by leaps and bounds and by the time children come to school world, new educational trends will require new domains and knowledge, therefore there is a constant challenge in the world of complexity.

Author Biography

Edvin Méndez, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala

He studies the Doctorate in Research in Education at the Centro Universitario de Oriente of the Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala. He is a graduate of the Master's Degree in Education with a specialty in Higher Education and the Bachelor's Degree in Christian School Education from the Mariano Gálvez University of Guatemala. He is a full university professor from 2015 to date at Mariano Gálvez University teaching the Human and Professional Development course in different faculties, thus knowing the diversity of complexities and virtues of learning. In addition, he is an English language teacher in basic primary and secondary education and diversified different careers in various establishments.
