Abstract

PROBLEM: With the increasing uncertainty and complexity of the world, the question arises: How can education adapt and evolve to incorporate complex thinking and effectively cope with the growing uncertainty and complexity of the modern world?. OBJECTIVE: to develop educational strategies that integrate complex thinking to enhance students' ability to navigate and understand the increasing uncertainty and complexity of the modern world. METHOD: To achieve this, a variety of bibliographic sources focused on complex systems theory and complex thinking were reviewed. After gaining an understanding of these theories, a critical analysis was conducted to formulate my own opinion and reaction. RESULTS: The study revealed the value of interdisciplinarity, the importance of complex systems theory in education, recognition of the importance of history, and the need to address complexity with an integrated approach. UNFINISHED REFLECTION: The importance of complex thinking and complex systems theory in our understanding of the world. Complexity, although difficult to define, drives us towards interdisciplinary approaches to addressing modern problems and phenomena, which are increasingly marked by uncertainty and unpredictability. Education, therefore, must adapt and integrate these theories to prepare students for an ever-changing world.
