Abstract

PROBLEM: why do we continue to teach through linear methods today without promoting rationing and research to students? Why is technology not an essential part of the educational processes in our society? OBJECTIVE: Reflect on the way we currently teach, without promoting meaningful learning through reflection, research and the integration of educational technology. METHOD: the method used was a documentary investigation and the contribution based on previous experiences in the field of higher education. RESULTS: Education is a social process by nature and constant social changes affect education. Many of the problems of education are in the obsolete plans and programs that pretend that the students know, above all, but in general everything is ignored. As teachers of the new century and considering the advances in technology, we must promote its use for individual and collective learning, therefore, technology must be involved and immersed in education. UNFINISHED REFLECTION: It is extremely important an educational reform, a thought reform where we are more understandable and sensitive to the students who are and will develop in society. As teachers we have a challenge that we must face with conscience, ethics and commitment to be part of the education of the future.
